Assistant Conductor, Aram Demirjian
Jeffrey Rink has appointed Aram Demirjian as assistant conductor. Mr. Demirjian, from Lexington, Massachusetts is a double major in Music and Government at Harvard University, where he is a member of the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra, the Choral Fellows, and the University Choir at Harvard Memorial Church. Aram is also on the board of the Dunster House Opera Society and has played I the Lowell House Opera orchestra.
Aram received early training at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School, where he studied cello with Laura Blustein. He was a member of the NEC Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and principal cellist of the Youth Symphony Orchestra. In 2002, he attended the Boston University Tanglewood Institute Young Artists Orchestra program. Aram is a conducting student of Jeffrey Rink and has also studied with Edward Jones.
